Hey folks,

I have a retro T5 setup I have been using for a few years- 4X54w.- the kind thats pre-wired.... just plug in the wiring harness (Icecap 660 ballast) and add bulbs... well, I want to replace the 660 with a ballast that won't overdrive the lamps so much- how much of a pain is it to cut the harness and add 2x Sylvania or whatever kind of ballast?
I am good with wiring and such, but not sure how to go about this, and I'd rather use 2 ballasts for more lighting flexability.
thanks for any suggestions,

most of the ballasts take the wires into its designated spot that you just push the wire into or tighten a screw to hold it in. so as long as you cut the wires and put the wires in the correct spot on the ballast you should be fine. just get the correct ballast for those bulbs
