hey guys,
on my very slow quest to add a small sump/fuge to my 10gal eheim rimless cube. Just finished putting together a 1/2 DIY PVC overflow using "king of DIY" video on youtube. (just typed in "DIY PVC overflow") And I cant say im 100% confident in it.
Would just running the eshoppes nano overflow or a similar HOB overflow be more reliable and worth its weight in pennies? It just seems easier and after seeing what this pvc overflow looks like, there both eye sores so im looking for functionality.
Re guarding the PVC overflow, do I need to add an aqua lifter vacuum pump to the check valve? It seems important to insure suction at all times even when the system is done.
