Bubble mangus nac 7

Any one else have this skimmer ? Mine works great for the price and much more efficient then my pm bullet 1 that needed a mag 12 but it is so dam noisy ! It there something wrong with it I dissemble and clean it every few months I guess it's due again so I'll keep u posted but wanted to hear other experiences

I just bought a used NAC7 with the meshwheel impeller, and its pretty quiet, only a slight hum from the motor...not bad though.

This is by far the quietest skimmer I have come across.
My whole system is built to be as silent as possible.
I literally can not here it running.
Now if I could just figure out a way to get this mp10 to be silent.
Oh yea. It also skims like a beast. Really! I know "cadlights" who would have Thunk??

That's funny I have 2 mp 10s and a 40 and there dead silent! But the skimmer is so loud I have to close my bedroom door at night

I am considering the NAC7. Are you stating that you have replaced the pump on your NAC7 twice?

Yes the Atman pumps IMO suck bit I have yet to find a replacement with that said it is a great Skimmer the bog I get out of this thing is unbelievable

Interesting, I have power heads and return pumps that refuse to die and yet the Atman is not reliable...appreciate the info.

Ok, I did my research, it seems that the Atman meshwheel wears down in less than a year and if not replaced on time it can damage your pump itself. Hence the real and authentic Magus sends you a replacement mesh wheel in the skimmer box.

Also read that they make a pinwheel for the Atman 2500 which lasts a lot longer than the mesh.

I have a cs1, I ordered the bubble Magnus but they where outta stock. So they upgraded me to the cs1 it works great uses the pin wheel and from what I hear a better pump if the
Mesh wheel is holding you back upgrade for the 50$ it's the same pump
