57 rimless water level question..

I did a search :wink1: but couldn't find an answer to my question. I LOVE my 57 but would like the water level in the tank just a bit higher. I raised the front gate on the overflow but didn't see any real change. Is there a way that I'm missing short of throttling back the drain (Don't want to do that)? Thinking it's built to run at a set level but wanted some other opinions.

Even with the front gate raised, I think the side opening don't change

cover the overflow teeth using acrylic?

i know with my jbj nanocube, all i have to do is raise this http://ebay.f3images.com/IMD/feeds/JB7333_50.jpg up/down to higher and lower water level on the display...

If you have a duro tube you can just raise it up and it will raise the water level.

Also bobby, if u plan on getting vortechs at some point and running them in a pulse mode, you'll need the extra room on top to keep the water in

If you have a valve on the drain just close it a little. Or you can raise your drain. Assuming you have a durso.
