Plexi glass ok to use in tank?

Is it ok to use plexiglass in a tank? I need to make some custom rock work and dont want to have to buy acrylic???

Yes. Plexiglass is a brand of acrylic sheet. They are the samething.

1+ also be carefull on how to going to cut the pieces if you do thou. i don't think you don't wanna loose a finger especially when your setting up your new thank keep that in mind =)

You can purchase acrylic rod fairly cheap with a good amount from eBay.. That's where I previously purchased mine.

Ok.... Thanks for the info guys. I kinda figured about being just a name like Band-Aid, but I just wanted to check. I needed a piece of sheet that I am using in new tank. I will get it done and show all after I have it done.

Not using rods, but needed just the sheet.
