Now that I have been slowly stocking up on SPS Corals for my aquarium I felt that I didn't have enough lighting. So I placed an order with Rapid LED for two Rapid LED RetroFit Constant Current LED Lighting Kits (I already had two kits from my previous setup). I now have 4 separate Rapid LED RetroFit Constant Current LED Lighting Kit running on 4 Drivers with 6 LED a piece for the equivalent of 250 watts of Meta Halide Lighting. This made such a difference to me. I also still have the ability to add an additional 32 leds if I want.

Reply to AquaProBuilder.

What current level are you driving them and what's temperature on the heat sink after couple hours at the present setting?

I honestly do not know what is the current level the drivers are running at. I am using four separate Mean Well LPC-35-700W drivers with 6 LED's attached to each. As for the temperature setting I have no clue as well. I will be purchasing an infrared temperature gun soon and will let you know but honestly I run the lights from 9:00am until 10:00pm and I can touch the heatsinks and their almost cool to the touch! I have two 6 Inch x 6 Inch x 1.5 Inch Heat Sinks and two 4 Inch x 3.5 Inch by 1.5 Inch Heat Sinks in use with no fans currently running. Maybe when I enclose the unit I will add fans but they don't seem to be necessary.
