nano cube lighting

Noob question, I'm looking to change my stock lighting ont he nano cube 12 DX to metal halide or something that can support anemones. Can anyone recommend any in particular and correct sizes?

you dont need halides for a anemone..t-5 will be fine

agreed. if you do halides in a 12g, its going to be off the charts with temp if you dont have it hung at least a foot over the tank... not to mention thats alot of light for a little non deep tank. t5 is more then enough for anemones and coral depending on which t5 fixture you do.

A single PAR 38 LED bulb will be fine.

The nem will over take your tank even if you retro fit another PC bulb into the hood. A T5 will make it's growth explode.
