firmware update rkl

after having trouble with my rkl reading the wrong temp i did some more research and found theres a firmware update. ill be honest i dont know what this means nor do i know how to do this. can anyone help?

Which firmware version are you looking to upgrade to? I believe firmware 2.0 and above requires you to have a SID v2.0. Look at the back of your SID, if it has a v2.0 label on it, you're good. If there's no label, you'll need to either send your existing SID in for an upgrade (free, you just pay postage going and return) or pay $20 and buy a new SID from DA. looks like i need to send my sid out for the update, as mine is not marked as the instructions say. thanks widdy for your help

No problem. I just upgraded my RKL to v2.0+ via MyReef 2.0. Fairly straight-forward, just follow the directions posted in DA's forum. G'luck!
