curios about lighting

just curios does any one know how a sodium light would work for a reef tank and whats the diference between T5's and T8's

by sodium you mean a street light ? t8's wont run a reef system just type t5 in google t8 doesnt produce enough spectrum to reach bottom or enough light period to substain corals, quit trying to cut corners and save up for lights ya need :irked:

High pressure sodium lamps can be used for indoor horticulture, they are very yellow and I doubt they would be very pleasing to look at.
