My sump is a 33 long drilled on one end with a 20 long drilled as a refugium. 2 1800 mag pumps for 3,600 gals an hour.

im not sure how big your tank is or the size of your drains but 3600 gallons is a lot

I had a mag 24 pumping up to my 180 with two 1'' drains and I had to down size bc they couldnt keep up

im no expert, but that does seem like an awful lot that would mean evan a 180 gal tank would filter 20 times per hour...seems like overkill. maybe some strong return pumps
