2nd level for "Crabarium"

Anyone got ideas or pictures for a 2nd level in a 3 foot tank L1200mm x w600mm x H530mm. I need to create a 2nd level for land hermit crabs but will need to do myself. As I get tremors (MS) it has to be easy to assemble and hold sand/water etc. Any ideas? needs to be cheap and was thinking of plexiglass & getting my dad to glue. What sort of glue is safe?

Any other ideas would be warmly welcome.

If you don't mind about columns, you maybe able to add a tray with PVC holder. But if you want something more professional, you can use acrylic cement (see various WeldOn solvents) to add shelf. The WeldOn solvent cement is not safe due to chemical toxicity, and you will need someone else to do it for you in a well ventilated room.
