Looking for hole drilling service

I am looking for a service to drill a hole for a 1.5" bulkhead in a 40 gallon breeder tank. I live on Long Island, but am willing to go where necessary to get it done.

The folks at Country Critters offer this service, but they can't seem to get their hands on the right diameter bit. They have been good about the problem - they offered to drill two 1" holes, but I don't have the space behind my tank for two holes.

i have a 1" and a 3/4" drill bit if u want to give it a shot.i drilles a 10gal tank the other day and it went perfect and thats with 1/8 thick glass. what do you need with a 1 1/2" hole in a 40 gal

I want to be sure that I minimize overflow noise. By overbuilding the capacity I hope to keep things quiet and give myself room to upgrade in the future.
