Since the ban of Fiji exportation, almost 7 years ago in early 2018, Reefers have been badly craving the bright and vibrant corals that Walt Smith brings to our hobby! Thankfully, that ban ended earlier this year and our tanks are once again full of stunning Fiji Corals! Particularly, SPS Colonies!
SPS Colonies are one of the featured corals that Fiji is absolutely known for. We are lucky enough to be on the receiving end of seemingly non-stop shipments from Fiji, that are absolutely loaded up with these SPS Colonies! Beautiful, big colonies of Acropora in the brightest colors you could imagine! Pink Birdsnest, and Pink and Green Stylophora and Pocillopora that light up under whites! Not to mention the rare Branching Yellow Porites, and many more!
We take expert care of all of our Fiji SPS colonies while they are in our facility! We keep them under intense lighting and flow at all times, giving them all the resources they need to thrive! When we receive a shipment of Fiji SPS, we give them lots of time to adjust and situate to aquarium life. Not even offering them for sale until they have colored up and settled in, which can take several weeks. In this time, we dip and inspect our them regularly, to ensure a healthy and pest free coral for our customers! However, thanks to Walt and his team we don't have to do much work, as almost every Fiji SPS that arrives is already extremely healthy and almost always pest free! Making Fiji one of the top choices when it comes to SPS.
