How can I frag A Dendro

How can I frag a dendro I have one that started with three heads, now there are many smaller heads I would like to frag so of the smaller heads but don't want to frag the coral that looks great and have the frag and mother die because I cut it wrong!!

just cut around the heads, and not through it
easier with a dremel

I would wait till the little heads are matured.

I would just dremel the new head off the mother how big should it be before it can be cut, I know that the dremel can not go under water how long can the dendro stay out of water...

corals can stay out of the water for quite some time, if you feel insecure, use a paper towel, damp it with your tank water, cover it on the heads that your not cutting, 5 min. will be fine. don't get the dremel too wet, you might get a shock!

I also would keep the pieces that you have cut the heads of. I have had many pieces generate new babies from dead looking pieces of dendro skeleton. It starts out as an orange dot and grows into another head

I had the same question, someone beat me to it. Do you guys recommend any dips after fragging?
