leather coral need help

i just got this 1 week ago and now has spots on him, what is this

Has it opened up at all since you got it? It doesn't appear to be getting ready to shed. Can you scrape the gunk off?

it was open the first 2 days then all of a sudden started looking like that.

How direct is the flow it is in. Leathers are huge pouters. They don't like change and it could be just mad at you.

coral was in a strong current in store, i have coral in a moderate current now

dont get nervous, Leathers are so hardy they just wont dye. I had a small tood stool that was closed for a month, barley ever opened, nows its huge, Im selling a yellow Fiji and one large for 70$ and the med comes for free

if it starts to shed shortly, you have nothing to worry about. i would give it time.

If you test the water that the coral came in you might be very surprised at the results.

You should be fine my leather has done this to me at least 3 times over the last year or so, Put him in a spot with decent flow and light and he will come back around.
