corals not opening

put the lights on in my tank today at 12 and the corals just didnt look right, its 2pm now and my zoo's are still all closed up , shroms that are 3 to 4 inches acrossed are the size of dimes, and my 2 frogspawn colonys are still all closed up???? i did a water change friday, checked all my levels and everything looked fine. checked my levels again today and there all still good, fish and inverts all look good, active and still eating. i was thinking about changing the water again today?? any ideas?? i checked ph, ammonia, nitrate, natrite and checked my salitity, am i missing anything, i dont use r/o water but i use filtered water with amqual + in it . also changed my chemipure bags today. the tank is about 8 months old and never had any issues.

something might have changed in the tap water you are using.thats why ro/di water is so important.any changes in water can seriously hurt your tank.

i can suggest you go to your local shop and ask to purchase the amount of R/O water you would use to make a water change and do another water change ..so at least you know the water your using is good for the water change ..good luck
