placement of chalice

hey what would be the ideal placement for a chalice in a 30"tall tank with 400 halides

Sup Derm!.. chalice now huh ... People would suggest at the bottom but its really up to you and how your corals reacts to your lighting. Being said that I have chalice from bottom, middle and top of the tank .. Some likes lots of light some don't.. HTH

Many corals will adapt so if you want it high start low and slowly move it up. If it starts looking crappy move back a step; just have some patience
