Brain with some bleaching?

hey everyone,
So I picked this brain coral up at swap and realized when I got home that it has multiple white "bleached" areas on it. I am curious if this will improve with good care or is this bleach effect here to stay?
any advice appreciated

Looks fine it should color back up more if your water quality is not that bad..

not 100% sure if thats the coloration but I did have that piece in my tank for a month. Its pretty healthy and if it is indeed bleached that it should color back up. I wouldnt be too worried about it.

Color really depends on water conditions, flow, placement, lighting etc. If everything is good it will get its color back.

What lighting was it under before you got it? What lighting is it under now? Where was it placed before and now? What was the distance from the light source before and now?

So not sure what it was on before I got it but its on the sand bed now in my 28 gallon JBJ Nano with 150 W Metal Halides!
