Scolymia feeding necessary?

I have two Open brains that is doing well in my tank without any kinds of feeding. They are just kept under five 54watts T5 lighting. Is is possible to keep Scolymia also without any feeding?

I've kept mine with little to no feeding and they have done very well. If you feed them they will open up larger each day, they will also grow much fast.
