I have an Current USA Satellite Dual Compact Fluorescent, 2X65 Watt, 24 inch, I want to know what type of corals I can keep other than soft corals, is it possible to keep sps at the top of the tank? or anemone since thats what I'm really planning on having....a list of anemone I could have would be appreciated... thanks???!!!

I have the 30" satellite fixture with dual 65w CF bulbs over my 36 gallon tank and I keep softies and LPS with no problem, and I have a piece of orange monti cap up near the top that seems to be doing just fine.

I keep sps orange milli, green milli, green cap under PC and is doing just fine. Just make sure you keep it on the top.

I have a CHEEP Aquatrader 4X96 PC LIGHT! and everything is doing wonerfull. Color would be better under MH i am sure.

You probably could keep an anemone for a short period of time, then it will probably cease to exist. Anemones and SPS corals need strong lighting. Some SPS corals will survive under this lighting not flourish like they would under strong lighting. Anemone's are not a good idea to add to a tank without t5 of mh lighting because they will look good for a little while then they will die and fould the tank very quickly.

Your watr parameters must be perfect as well.

Yes the charts are there for reference but you will find numerous threads here with peoples experiences as well. You should try to search te forums for some info and members personal experiences.

I would do some research on what you plan on keeping and see which lighting solution is best for your plans.
