toad stool

can anyone explain why my toad stools tentacle wont stay open.my parameters are all fine.i turn the daylight lights on it stays open for a hour then it closes up again.

How long has this been going on and do you have a blenny (or similar fish in there) that sometimes sits/rests on the toadstool?

Sometimes they are pouty. Some of my leathers only open occasionally. As long as there is no tissue necrosis they are fine.

no fish yet.i just put the toad in on mon.today was the first time it opened for the hour

Just let it be. Toadstools been closed for a week or so now, always does it. No need to worry. Mine is just pissed off that the sinularia above it is taking up all it's space.

Just since Monday...I wouldn't worry about it at this point. Leathers can be tempermental and can take some time to adjust to a tank, different parameters, lighting and all that.

toadstools r tough. they can grow in toilet water

thank u.i saw this at pets warehouse and usually im not impressed by leathers but i had a spot right by a cave where it looks perfect.dont worry nano still going to get ur leather.

I also got a pulsing leather that got pissed I fragged it twice...but its back out now after about a week.
