Why is my Colt Coral turning black? Everything else in my tank looks good.

Get that thing into a QT tank asap and watch your tank they can foul a tank rather quickly.

If its turning black, its not a good sign. A while ago when I had a colt and it turned black it was due to poor water quality and it just started deteriorating after that. Be careful with it and watch it closely.

Leather release toxins (to other corals) when they die.
Do you run carbon on your tank?

Best to do as the other suggest and put it into a QT tank until you know what is going on with it. A pic would be most helpful.
