Any ideas? Is it going to die? How do I fix it?

It's pretty much dead. Did you drop something on it? What are you water levels? Do you have any other corals in the proximity that might have stung it?

No I dropped nothing just did a water change yesterday like I do every Sunday. Everything else is fine didn't look like that this morn when I left for work. It's all by itself has the whole right side of the tank. Just weird.

That is just one head of a larger colony right? It is not uncommon for Euphyllia sp. to develop infections that will rapidly take out heads of a colony. It could spread or it could be isolated. I'd carefully siphon off all the brown slimy stuff ( bacteria and possibly protozoans) and increase flow to the area and keep an eye on it. If you see it spread to the next nearest head, I' d frag it ASAP and try to prevent the spread.

Same thing happened to mine a couple of weeks ago. First one head got infected, then the other three. It died in 3 days.:irked: It was beautiful. Very frustrating. I spoke with Jim at House of Fish. The same happened to him. My parameters were perfect. The only thing that could've done it was a slight temperature increase. I just got a new one. I'll keep you posted. Good luck.
