What is the best place to put anthelia? Right now I have two small rocks with anthelia that were doing great when I got them. I put them on the bottom of my tank where they receive moderate flow ( enough to keep them swaying ) and are under 2x150W MH's with 130W PC supplementation. If you look in my tank thread you see how good they were when I first got them but they are no longer doing as well with maybe 25% of the polyps gone or shrivelled.

I have mine on top of my rock work, maybe 10" from the 150w MH its doing fine there, how long have you had them and have they always been in the same lighting environment?

I got them about 2 weeks ago and I can't remember what lighting they were under (Ill see if the member can tell me ) but they were high up in the tank. I figured since I have MH's I'll start them low and raise them gradually as needed. I did raise them - one frag each to a different height and hopefully this will help.

good luck hope they make it, I really like the Xeniidae group, I put my in at the top when I got them... I don't consider 150w to be "strong" lighting
