yup thats a tunicate/sea squirt, i had one but it died a long long time ago :sad2:

Alvin, there's actually two of them on this rock with green clove polyps. The other is on the opposite side. Really cool little animal.

I'd bet it opens up to about 3/4" when fully expanded.
