Question on gluing rics

Hey all --

I got lots of wonderful things at the swap that I know I can keep, but I just need a little advice on gluing rics onto a rock (as in, does the glue hurt the ric if some glue gets on the ric and not just on the rubble that the ric is already attached to?)

Ideally you don't want the glue to get onto the ric..have a little tub of water right nearby just in case to dunk it into. The glue gets very hot when it is setting up and that can cause damage.

Yes, I believe glue will damage the ricordea, unless the glue is directly on the ricordea's base. It'll "slime off".

oh almost got scared there...i glued my ricordias last night..it had small piece of rubble on the bottom...so i'm guessing it should be fine..they look nice

Should be fine there JHov..rubble to rock/rubble is fine. Eventually it will attach further on it's own

Great...for some weird reasons Ricordias do very well in my tank...they must love swamp water....i can wait till these new ones grow out..

I've had rics slide off the rubble right after I glued them in place. But they should be fine.
