candy coral stung by finger leather!!

It looks like my finger leather has stung my candy coral just a small piece the flesh looks dark and i can see the skeleton a bit is their a remedy i have since moved the leather so it can not touch anything

I never heard of leathers stinging candycanes i could be wrong.

well iam not sure the leather was touching a piece of the candy and now its dark and a little retracted exposing the skeleton maybe somethingelse is wrong but the rest of the candy coral looks great

It will heal on its own. I had a mushroom that covered half a candycane polyp and the flesh was all gone on that side. It took a couple weeks to heal.

Interesting! It has always been my cc that stung their tank mates. The only thing that stung one of my cc was the acro.
Keep an eye on it. If it was stung, and you've moved away from what ever had stung it, it shall heal.

thanks Awibrandy it looks like its almost healed but now that i thing about it It may have been the galaxia that toudhed it? but its looking good so far

candy canes are very sensitive so anything touching them will cause them to shrink considerably.
