I have entered the Gorg Fad......here are some pieces i got from the GORG king himself and from Ming..... I dont know names..i go by Color :biggrin:
Pinkish Purple....

White with Dark polyps.... its still acclimating to my tank...opening up little by little

This one i like alot Black with Brownish Polyps.....

Red base Yellow Polyps

I thought i bleached this one HAHAHA..... SNOW WHITE GORG

and from Ming..i think its purple plum not sure but its purple and growing

They look happy in your tank. Let me know how fast the white one grows. It seems to grow pretty fast in my tank.

Hey Dom I notice that this gorg seems to open up mostly towards the end of day or when its feeding time...should i feed it or is it only photosynthetic?

Hey Dom,
Thanks for the frags. Two are doing well but I found something strange the morning after I added them. My diadema urchin was on the fuzzy gorg for a while so I couldnt tell how it was doing. I moved the urchin off and it kept coming back to the gorg. The next morning I couldnt find a trace of it - skeleton and all! Have you ever experienced this? I think this is what killed the previous frag. It seems to leave the other ones alone.

Some Caribbean urchins will eat soft corals. Especially if the coral is stressed and slime-ing.

I haven't had problems with the other softies in the tank so maybe this one just has particular taste. oh well .

That one is suspected to be non-photo. It is doing well in Lissa's tank so it probably doesn't need to be fed very much.

Wow your tanks are always great! I got my first two gorgs a month ago went with some fairly easy purple photosynthetic whip. Thanks for the advice and encouragement.
