Trachyphyllia Brain Question

Hello guys. I have had this huge brain for the last month or so and have one question....Is it normal for it to be this inflated all the time? I got it off some guy on Craigslist that had it in his tank for over a year (his tank looked like a swamp, lol). All my parameters are good. Anyone ran across the same issue?

That's fine I had one for a year and it looked like that most of the time....When it went down I got worried that was only when I dosed to much alk or calcium..

Thanks for your input! I mean, it strinks down when the lights are off; it's just when they are back on that it goes into this stage.

I have two, and they do that. Mine change up all the time. I keep mine in low light/flow. Do feed it every now, and again they like it.

When I mean swamp, I mean swamp. It was full of hair algae and he claimed to not have done a water change in months! And this coral survived all that, lol....
