I just noticed a large bite missing from one of my acro's.
The only thing I could blame would be the urchin which has grown
a little larger than a golf ball. Has any one else seen an urchin do this?

I've heard of it and seen it happen. What kind of urchin is it? Sometimes animals in captivity adapt and start doing things we wouldn't expect them to normally or start behaviors they didn't exhibit previously.

Definitely, especially when the fish swim to you, so u can pet them.

(Not recommended, due to the germs collected on your hands). :wink1:

Yes Triggers (some) will chew on SPS corals (not eat).
If you have a pencil urchin, it will EAT the crap out of all your sps.

Good luck,

I will prove that the aforementioned urchin is clinically insane - only a crazy, crazy lifeform would do that to Jon's animals...

To the asylum it goes (fuge?).

My urchins are willing to do jury duty in order to provide JH's urchin with a jury of it's peers.

JH, you've had him a long time and it's never happened before....

If you do decide that he needs a new home, he is welcome to come and live with his cousin snowball

Leslie the urchin I got from NWA died a while ago, this is one I got at GA.
It was a 1/4 of the size when I got it. It's been pigging out on all the coraline in my tank. If he needs a new home I'll let you know :)
