12g nano propagation tank???

I have a 12g nano that I?m thinking of using as a propagation tank.
Will this work?
I just want to grow frags a little before I place them into my 120g.
Anyone have ideas on how to set it up and what supplements to add.

My 12 gal. JBJ gets way to hot I'd like to see some of the responses you get on this thread also...I have to keep the top up to stay within 82 to 84 degrees..

I have no top on my 24 but I keep the top down on my 12 with no problems/temp spikes. No corals in the 12 tho just a FOWLR for right now.

How do you keep the temp, down in the 12..

if you got space...why not get a small 10gal tank drill it and connect it to your 120 so you dont need to worry bout supps or major heat problems

I dunno, it just stays between 78 and 80. it is right next to my 24 with the fan blowing across the top of the tank but that shouldn't do anything with the top of the 12 down

I don't have room to tap off my 120. my nano is right by my a/c and never goes above 77.

the environment is too nstable for a prop tank (if the corals are hard to keep). Shrooms, zenia, kenya tree would be fine though
