Hammer problem?

So I have this branching hammer and a pygmy that decided to try and taste the hammer. I saw him "rip" off one tentacle tip but none after that. Now there are less and less tentacles on the hammer. I don't know if they're simply dropping off now or if the pygmy is still picking at it. Everything else in the tank is doing fine.

Any reason why the tips would just drop off by themselves? Could it be too much flow?

harpoon the bastard!...lol j/k...move the fish or coral out kris, unless the fish is sensing the coral dying or maybe the pygmy is eating them at nite

The hammer wouldn't die if the Angel only took one bite out of it. Since it is continuously withering away - the Angel is definitely picking at it. You gonna have to choose! :eat:

:sad2: Maybe if I feed him soo much he can't swim straight he won't be able to pick at the hammer.....:redface:

I'm gonna give it a day or two more and I'll just bring him back to you. I'll try putting it closer to the froggie and see. Cause he doesn't go near the froggie.

build a protective cage out of egg crate for the hammer :lol2:

Nano, you know the deal. If the pygmy is tasting coral now its not gonna stop him from continuing to taste others. Get the angel out. Save you alot of time.
