Are you going to have any supplemental lighting in the winter when the days are short? Maybe some actinics to add a couple extra hours of light. It seems to me that since most of the corals we keep come from locations where the amount of daylight fluctuates very little throughout the year, that replicating this in captivity would give the best results.
thats funny i was just thinking about how it was just sunup when i left for work and sun down when i got home and it seems like thats not enough light but.... the natural sunlight is so intense that maybe it makes up the diff we will see as the winter comes, after all these are aquacultured corals and maybe they will adapt
