this gorg absolutely needs to be fed. you already have damage on some of the branches. you might want to try some heavy feeding of oyster eggs, cyclopeeze and any other zooplankton substitute you can get. keep the skimmer off while you feed. it's an awsome coral, but very, very difficult to keep.

As JasonE already pointed out, some of it is already dying where you can see the inner skeleton with no polyps. I tried having this coral once, and it makes keeping sun corals a joke IMO.
Definitely very attractive if you can get it back in health.

that pic was 15 minutes after i put it in my tank. 3\4 of it has polyp extention. i feed phyto, mysis, brine and roti feast to my tank. and price was $65 { im cheap } so that made it expensive. actually the most expensive piece in my tank :banghead:. i have had great luck with my yellow gorg with no direct feeding.

beautiful piece, keep us updated. i'd recommend spot feeding them as well. better safe then sorry, right? especially with a score like this one

Fauna Marin has a gorgonian food that has been getting good reviews...Might be worth a try...
