I resently purchased a Toadstool and a Fingerleather coral. When i put them into my tank they seems to be doing well the first week. The toadstool expanded to the fingerleather also streched out. Then both all of a sudden just died. My water is good, i have other corals(brain, chili, flowerpot, polyps) and fish that a re doing fine. What could have happened? I use powercompact lighing, Could it have been the lights? :supermad:

What makes you think the water is good?! Can you list your water parameters and what methods you used to test them? Even if you had no lights, a healthy toadstool & finger leather shouldn't die 1 week after fully expanding.

Your other livestock have already acclimated themselves to your current water conditions...that's why it's of no use to say "my other corals look fine". Your new additions obviously were unhappy with your system or were previously unhealthy.
