Having seen this in person, I have to say that I think salty is right. I do not think it is Australogyra. It does not have the velvety texture that is classic to that genus. The base is almost red with neon green centers. I was lucky to get a piece and I've certainly never seen anything like it before.

Looks to me a lot more like G. Ramosa. Corallites on Australogyra seem more stretched out. These are very uniform. Oh crap The Shield is on... Later.
