Inexpensive Tubs for propagating Corals

no matter where you live heat gain is not a good thing unless you have a way to coolit. I started out with rubbermaid type vats but got away from them because of the "heat gain" caused by halides against black surface,north or south that aint good . now in the green house the water would get real hot in a black vat hense the white vats I am using. you are foolin yourself if you think it dont matter

Today i went to Tractor Supply and bought a 300 gallon tub for 193.00 and a 150 tub for 117.00. I am putting these Rubbemaid tubs in my basement which is cool all winter and is air conditioned in the summer. I bought the tubs because of their durability. After i work the bugs out of starting a new system i plan on getting more of these.

The color of the rubbermaid tubs i have is gray although they will absorb much more heat than white containers, They are better than black containers
