crox please :shhh:.... im 100% sure his phosphates and watever is not perfect...

Just a little piece of advice crox when someone says there phosphates are perfect THERE NOT....

before you say anything find out any and all information...

u went from

pyramid snails
zoopox

anywayz imma stop know and leave it off at this

check every single water parameter you can with quality test kits...

check salinity, ph, alk, cal, mag, phosphate WITH A HANNA METER. also nitrates.
also check the water flow that your zoos are getting and the amount of light ur zoos are getting.. there unhappy.. take a pic and show us what they look like :thanks:

I am sure too that his PO4 and nitrate are not perfect but we don't know for sure. Do we? Do you know know what kind of test kits is he using? Fow what we know he might be using a Hanna meter. FYI it's not a pyramid snail but a sundail. Big difference. And please DO NOT :shhh: me.

Zoo's are my best indicator of poor water chemistry. I know whenever theere is something bad going on with my water my pink zoos slowly start not opening and sure enough once the levels are adjusted and multiple water changes are done they open as if there was never a problem. Ofcourse that assumes that they were doing well under the conditons you have had them under for the last few months or so.
For me ZOOS = Perfect water test kits

i find zoos r most tolerate of water quality. they can grow so fast that borders pest. but besides predation, it will close up when water flow n or lighting is too strong. dosing idoine sometimes helps in healing.

Guys.. I checked with the water level again, everything seems ok. But after I posted here on few days ago, I went to the LFS to get a KENT iodine in liquid, they start opening again. Some of my pink zoo opened yesterday night. I believe is the iodine thing, I can post my pics later tonite or tomorrow.
