zoanthid thread

if anyone has had successful zoanthid spread, can you post how long it took for them to start spreading?

One healthy zoanthid can become two in about 2 weeks. Of course, some take much longer.

ok thanks, do they naturally move on different rocks? like my little piece of lr is covered so how can i make them go onto a different rock? i put them really close to the other rock

I got these PHE's from Jim in October. Pic 1. About 8 polyps. Here they are now. Zoo's do better in my tank when they are further from lights. Pic 2 are fire and ice zoos from Slamajama. Same time. Same thing, about 8 polyps. Pic 3 are pinks from Ronen. Got them in Dec. Around 15 polyps.

How many watts? on 250's and luminarcs, try for 24 inches.
