some aquariums can't keep it alive. I have seen them last a few months tops but in the end they will die. Nothing personal, I think we all have that "I'm going to be the one to do it first" attitude, it's part of a successful reef I feel, but trust me, leave this one alone.

Extremely difficult coral to keep. Survival rate is slim. Obviously very beautiful though.

Russ, I think its worse than slim :D I don't know of anyone who kept this coral alive, except for tanks that get fresh ocean water.

Dave, if you must try this coral try feeding it all kinds of foods. I would try DT's Oyster eggs, CE, maybe coral vitalizer also.

I've had one for 7 months now I don't know if it was my water parameters
or the fact that it was difficult to keep.I do know that my tank was covered in caino and so was this coral at one time. Its not that big now its a little stuby now.

I agree Rich. However, when offering an opinion, being totally definitive leaves no room for the rare, albeit almost impossible, situation where it might be possible to keep it. I'd leave it in the wild too.
