Please help me identify this I am new to this and if this is a coral that needs a lot of light I need to move the rock?

it's just a skeleton it already has coraline algae growing over it.

Ok Thanks for letting me know. The unusual thing is it's getting bigger. I guess I'll just have to see what happens.

Touch it if its soft then it might be a sponge and its its hard then its a skeleton

sponges come in lots of shapes and colors - i have lots of greenish and blue-ish sponges that look like that - they are kind of ball-shaped with a skeleton look to them.
