Gluing Mushrooms

ok i redirected my water flow so that it can form like a tornado so that there be no dead spots well i must have blown on the rocks that a mushroom that i did not know i have came flying off. i want to attch it to a rock so waht would be my best option. can i glue shrooms or just let it be.

Put the lose mushroom in a cup with some sand. When there is enough sand on the 'shroom you can glue it to a rock.

or put it in a cup with some gravel,
also, cover the cup with some netting so it doesnt get blown out again
