Never buy any piece of coral without researching it's care and requirements first. Sometimes it's as easy as going to the book section of most LFS's and reading about the coral.
I moved it to a spot where it has much less water movement. Now it is fully open like a flower. :lol2:
I will take a pic later. The tank has finished cycle since last weekend. I have been testing the water every single day since the beginning.
The Ammonia and Nitrite readings are always 0 since last Friday.
Nitrate is at a little above 10 PPM. I will do another 25% w/c this coming weekend.
I have my lights on 8-9 hours a day for the past few days and I've never seen any algae in my tank. so what's the deal on that? Maybe my water is too clean?? :lol2:
You guys have been telling me I will get Algae in my tank no matter what. Now I'm running out of reasons to get the cleaning crew.
Here are some pics of the invert n the tank.
The rocks are showing colors and I wouldn't say the Cup Coral is 100% open, but it is doing much better than before.
Still can't find any Algae! This means no cleaning crew for me. :screama:
