Can I get a responce from some 1 how long it takes for an acclimating Green Star polyp to release its polyps after being fraged...
Mine had to adjust to my water conditions for 2 and a half days....

I remember when I got mine it took 3-4 days to fully open.

Twinreef chopped me off a piece of GSP with a razor blade for my tank- it was open (the polyps) the next day!

depends on where you place them..these guys i have always seen open in a good spot with a good amount of flow and medium light...but the ones i got from alti opened up half an hour when i placed them in my tank..

the star polyps i got from twinreef also opened up immediately in my tank

I have taken frags that open within a day and others a week. I once cleaned off sand from a colony one night when it was closed and it did not reopen for a week. In short they have a mind of their own.
