Bubble coral

Anyone know how to frag bubble coral - I found some old posts on line but I don't know if it actually worked.

My bubble coral is the size of an adults head and growing.....

If its a 'wall' type coral, my advice would be to sell it, if its too big.
IMO most fragging of wall corals do not end well!

you can only cut off separate branches that bud off, i wouldnt cut 1 large head in half

I do have a visable branch off of the main head but it the flesh is still all connected at the base.

who do I get the flesh to 'divide' from the rest of the main body?

Sorry for the delayed pic. I Know its not the best pic but you can see on the bottom left of the photo a bubble shooting out from main body. When fully opened its about 2-3" in diameter. The concern I have is the flesh is fully intact and part of the main body.

Please don't hack that beautiful bubble coral. Just sell it and buy a smaller one or even trade it for a smaller one if it doesn't fit in your tank. Bubble corals are my favorite so I would hate to see that die.

Thanks for the advice but I cherish this coral it is my first coral about 8 years old, unfortunately its getting to big and I don't want to sell it and am not looking to 'hack it'! That is why I posted in the coral farming section and I am asking experience people for advice.
