My main reef tank sits right outside my
kitchen. My RODI unit has a reservoir tank and I bought the fittings to add splitters, etc.
I have an APEX EL and an XTAqua RO/DI flood guardian. I want to plumb it directly to my tank. Here is what I intend to do:
Put solenoid under tank plugged in to Apex. The optical sensor will be set at the level I want and I want to program the plug on my Apex to shut off if it is left running for more than 3 minutes.
Would this work well and how do I program the Apex to do this?
I also want to add a button to shut it off during water changes or should I just turn off the outlet via the app?
