First, I want to thank all of you for your continued support and kind postings. We will continue to try to get better and better in an attempt to be the best LFS in New York.
I want to explain a little about our systems. The frag tank and the big triple tank in the middle are on independent systems as is the invertebrate and small fish system. The fresh water system is broken up into two separate systems. All of these systems are working at optimal levels, as we have made big strides in improving what was there from the previous owner.
The salt water fish tanks are all on the same system and we are in the process of changing the system to meet out high standards. Since the previous owner did not have much stock, we find that the system is not supporting the amount of fish and the variety of fish we want to carry. Through careful study and a lot of time we believe that our Oxygen levels are too low.
Although our fish have been healthy, we are going to cut back a little until we feel the system meets our total approval. We will be making strides to improve it over the next 2 weeks.
What does this mean to you? We will continue to carry healthy fish, but the stocking will be a little less over the next 2 weeks. What it really means to you is that you will still be able to buy beautiful, healthy and a wide assortment of fish.
We will continue to grow and get the best corals and fish available and remember, you can special order just about anything and we will try to get it for you.
