Found in tank this morning any ideas what it is?

Not 100% sure but it looks like a Chiton.

Yep looks like that to me now that I've checked the description and photo. of them. Really was doing this for a friend of mine found in his tank. He just joined Reef.org. He called me last night about it. Well E I agree thats what it looks like check it out

Thanks Cooder for posting my pic and thanks ElMondoCalvo for the I.D. I think that the description of a chiton fits it very well. It came up from a couple of inches down in the sandbed yesterday (by the glass) and hung out all night on some live rock. Gone this afternoon however. I took a couple of more pics this morning of it and will post if I can get them resized.
