i bought this coral colony on a live rock when it was closed... can someone id them for me?

Looks like superpissed palythoa? If it is, be careful if you frag 'em. They are very poisonous. A friend of mine took his whole family to the ER one night after a bit of tinkering with them.

palytohas just dont frag or cut them without gloves on.. or with any cuts on your hands. they don't sting. some house a palytoxin ..

basically, just big zoanthids.

i like palys better than zoos. atleast they eat prepared foods.
