So I pick up one piece of rock today from my LFS. It fit just where I needed it. Nice and purple. Made a perfect top for a cave.

I get it home and it has what looks like quite a few small red mushrooms on it. I wasn't ready for these yet as i'm still getting started, but was still happy.

I just popped on the light to see what was happening in there and I see this white worm-like thing about an inch long, maybe shorter. Real thin. Movin like lighting back and forth b4 it bolted in a hole in the rock. I mean this thing was fast. Thin and like a translucent white.

Sorry i have no pics. Wouldn't have been able to get one anyhow. Any ideas?

Hi Snow,

Didn't see any tentacles. Gonna keep poppin in to look for this again.

A digital camera is next on the hit list..

they generally look like tenticles haha.. you may also have a brittle star in there.
